Position

I have worked at Contronics since July 2021 completing the site documentation that we send out to our customers. I previously enjoyed a longstanding career within two of what were known as the ‘Big Four High Street Banks.’ I have integrated well into a completely different industry bringing with me a huge amount of knowledge and experience that fits well within the role that I enjoy with Contronics today.

Where are you based?

I live in a small village called Scholar Green, 5 miles from Congleton where Contronics is based. I have lived in this village for 6 years but have always lived within a 4-mile radius of the area. Little Moreton Hall a Grade 1 listed moated timber framed house has stood here since the early 16th century.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I go walking a great deal and love gardening with a particular emphasis on redesign as I always have a new vision I want to fulfil. I spend as much time as possible with my amazing family and beautiful grandchildren which usually take up a portion of my weekends.

Tell us an interesting fact about you…

As a teenager, I was a good Gymnast and trained with the British Under 18 Championship Team hoping to be selected as a member of the final squad. I entered several tournaments but unfortunately never made it to the final selection. I can however still do the splits (with a little limbering up beforehand).
