Position

I started with Contronics in 2007 as a Site Engineer before progressing to Senior Engineer and then Installation and Service Manager in 2019. As of 2025, I am now in my new role as a Head of Operations. My role involves looking after our growing team of Site Engineers, who are all around the country delivering our products and services to our customers, along with looking after internal sales enquiries from current customers.

Where are you based?

I live in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, the oldest borough in England! I work from the Contronics office in Congleton, Cheshire which is about 12 miles from my home.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I am a Cub Scout leader at our local group where I help look after 15-20 Cubs. We do lots of fun activities including camping, hiking and activity days along with helping the local community.

Tell us an interesting fact about you…

I spent 12 months travelling around Australia when I was younger and before joining Contronics I ran my own pub in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
