Technology is supposed to make our lives easier but sometimes it can become very frustrating when you have a job to do and systems run slow or require countless logins in order to access certain parts of the network.
New figures show that IT systems across the NHS are now so out of date that staff members have to log in to up to 15 different systems in order to work effectively, the BBC reports - and now approximately £40 million is being provided by the government in order to streamline the network and bring in single-system logins inside 12 months.
Health secretary Matt Hancock said: “It is frankly ridiculous how much time our doctors and nurses waste logging on to multiple systems. Too often outdated technology slows down and frustrates staff.”
Here at Contronics, we offer our clients full integration with NHS systems, including single sign-in - so we can immediately streamline your operations and make your organisation far more efficient.
If you’d like to find out more about how you and your staff members could benefit from making changes such as these to your network systems, as well as fully compliant monitoring systems and support services, get in touch with us today.
