A PTFE encapsulation specialist manufactures the temperature probe we use to a Contronics specification. The probe is encapsulated in a virgin PTFE sheath which is securely sintered to a PTFE lead. The inert probe will not contaminate any materials it is exposed to in a normal laboratory environment. It will not be contaminated or damaged by any materials or solvents in a normal laboratory environment. Its reliability and robustness have been proven over many years of operation.

Temperature
Temperature sensors are installed to a wide range of equipment and areas. Contronics’ Pt100 sensor are proven to have high accuracy and excellent reliability. Our temperature monitoring systems and wireless temperature monitoring systems have the capability to measure temperatures from -200 to 200°C.
Our standard temperature probe is a class A, 4-wire Pt100 probe to BS EN 60751 (IEC751) suitable for continuous operation over the range -200°C to +200°C. Probes are individually serial numbered and supplied with a certificate of conformance. We can offer temperature probes with a third party 3-point calibration certificate for more demanding applications.
